David Bacon is presently a Managing Director of Sierra Commercial Real Estate, Inc. Prior to Sierra, Mr. Bacon was with Palmer McAllister, a Frederick Ross Company. While there, he was a consistent member of the President’s Club and received the Top Producer Award in the Office, as well as the Commercial Realtor of the Year award for the Realtors Commercial Industrial Society (RCIS).
Bacon specializes in industrial, flex/tech, office/showroom, warehouse/distribution properties and land. With over 35 years of experience in sales and marketing, Dave has earned a reputation for integrity and perseverance, and is widely recognized as a seasoned professional. His loyal client base and repeat customers are a tribute to his knowledge of the industry and the industrial marketplace.
Now in his twenty-third year in commercial brokerage, Bacon has been an annual member of the Million-Dollar Club since 1987. Highly knowledgeable and conversant in industrial sales, leasing and land sales, Bacon has comprehensive knowledge of the Colorado Springs metropolitan and surrounding market areas. Extensive sales and marketing experience have contributed to his ability to professionally design and implement effective marketing programs suited for all types of commercial properties.
Dave is a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) candidate and is highly involved with the Industrial Development Research Council, Inc. (IDRC), the National Security Industrial Association (NSIA), the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), and most recently served as the Chairperson of the Colorado Springs Realtors Commercial Industrial Society (RCIS) and received the Commercial Realtor of the Year Award. He is in constant contact with the Greater Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation, national relocation consultants, hi-tech users, planning departments, lenders and co-operating brokers. Dave was formerly with Owens Corning Fiberglas where he held product and marketing managerial positions and was a District Sales Manager, receiving the highest performance honor awarded to any district in the company nationwide.
In 2003 alone, Dave was responsible for the sales and/or leasing of over 272,000 square feet of industrial product accounting for over $9 million in sales and leasing activity.
